Terms of service
Effective July 2, 2026 · These terms govern your use of 1Kompliance at 1kompliance.com.
What 1Kompliance is (and isn't)
1Kompliance is software that helps trucking owner-operators track regulatory deadlines, organize documents, and follow step-by-step filing guidance. It is an informational tool — we are not a law firm, a licensed insurance producer, a C/TPA, or a filing agent, and nothing in the product is legal, tax, or insurance advice.
You remain responsible for your own compliance. Deadlines, fees, and procedures are computed from public rules and your inputs and are provided in good faith, but regulators change things — always reconfirm at the official source (FMCSA, IRS, your state) at the time of filing.
Your account
You must provide accurate information (your USDOT number, weights, and operating details drive what the product tells you). You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. We enforce multi-factor authentication.
Plans and billing
The core product is free for operations with up to 5 trucks, subject to the published limits at /pricing. Pro is billed monthly through Stripe; you can cancel anytime from Settings and keep Pro until the end of the paid period. Deleting your account cancels any subscription immediately.
Your data
Your company data and documents are yours. We store them to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. You can delete your account (and all data, minus the legally retained audit trail of the deletion itself) from Settings at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no unauthorized access attempts, no uploading malicious files, no scraping other users' data, no using the free tools to spam third parties. We may suspend accounts that do.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages — including fines, penalties, out-of-service orders, or lost revenue arising from a missed or incorrect filing. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Reminders are a safety net, not a guarantee; the legal duty to file on time stays with the carrier.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be announced in the app. Questions: support@1kompliance.com.
